Historic downtown Durango building. After this block burned down in 1870's fire Chapman rebuilt in brick for his hardware business. Later used for different purposes including , so it's said, for a Nash dealership. The building was 'modernized' in the '60s. The current owners restored the building to its original state. The intererior was gutted and rebuilt. All stucco was painstakingly removed to expose the brick exterior and interior. Very attractive main level business space with multiple offices.
