“It was such a pleasure dealing with Katri. I am a widow with no experience in buying or selling real estate but I could not have had a more professional, knowledgeable, consistently positive, upbeat person to get me through the whole prossess. After having 8 realtors prior to her I was at a loss where to turn for ideas on selling my 173 acre ranch in Lewis, Co but she did it in just 2 & half months. “I was extremely satisfied with the way that Katri handled the listing and sale of my land in Colorado. From the very beginning, she was so knowledgable and easy to work with. She made sure that it was listed on multiple sites, and sent me frequent updates. She immediately answered any questions that came up, and kept me informed of any interest shown in the lot. When there was a buyer, she ensured I had copies of, and understood, all the forms and paperwork. I was a little apprehensive settling it all from out-of-state, but it couldn't have gone more smoothly. “I was an out-of-state client of Katri's looking for a rural home with small acreage. While on vacation in the Durango area last summer, we were able to spend an afternoon looking at several properties Katri had selected based on our criteria. All three we looked at that afternoon were a good fit for what we wanted, however, we were not quite ready to buy. We needed to sell our home in CA first. Katri stayed in touch with us and cheerfully answered our many questions about getting a home near Durango. When we were ready to enter the market this spring, Katri guided us through the process. We were actually able to offer on the first property that Katri had showed us last summer. She was great helping us with the long-distance offer, counter and purchase process. “My experience with Katri was superb. I am a high maintenance client and Katri was responsive to all of my various needs and was able to guide me through the process smoothly. Katri has always been there for me. Katri is very familiar with the process and even kept me on track with deadlines while she was on vacation. Katri is also a good problem solver. “If you are looking for a realtor in Durango, look no further - this team (Charles & Mary Rigby) is the BEST! We live in Texas and the last couple of years had seriously contemplated purchasing a lot in Durango to build our home on. We asked Mary and Charles to help us in this process. What an excellent decision as both realtors are exceedingly well versed in real estate expertise and experience. Charles and Mary took the time to help us look for lots and homes when we were in Durango on vacation. The first year we did not find a home or lot, but Mary kept sending us information on real estate available in the geographic area we were focusing on for our hunt. Also, being out of state, they were excellent in providing knowledge of the local laws, customs, and ordinances in Durango, Colorado - this is a key factor in making an informed decision on real estate. The second year - we found the property - Mary was wonderful in explaining the pros and cons of building on various lots; and what we should be looking for and costs to expect. The advice was priceless! Mary then proceeded to walk us through bidding on the lot; all of the paperwork necessary to buy the lot and she also kept EVERYTHING on track and on time. When we suddenly had a contract on the house we were selling in Tucson, she helped us to immediately find the perfect place and make an offer.
